Alberta Artists on CBC television and radio starting this weekend!
The Bands @ The Grand featuring talented Alberta musicians will begin airing this weekend on CBC television and continue for the next 4 Saturdays:
All shows are Saturdays at 7pm.

Alberta Board Development Program recruiting volunteer instructors
Train as a volunteer workshop instructor for Alberta’s Board Development Program and assist not-for-profit organization’s meet today’s challenges.
We are looking for people who have experience in the not-for-profit sector as board members or senior staff, and have a background in training or facilitating adult groups, as well as an awareness of diversity.
Our commitment: As a volunteer instructor, you will receive training on how to deliver workshops designed to build the skills of not-for-profit board members in Alberta. All expenses are covered for any necessary travel within the province.
Your commitment: Mandatory attendance is required for all training sessions. Upon successful completion of the training program, all instructors are required to conduct a series of 10 workshops over a period of 2 ½ years. You must be willing to work on weekends.

Arts Habitat Association – Arts Space Needs and Issues Survey
Arts Habitat Association has designed an Arts Space Needs and Issues Survey to uncover arts space needs and issues to support the City of Edmonton in “redrawing zoning bylaws or other regulations that inhibit the effective development of space for arts.” The information will also inform Arts Habitat Association database for cultural mapping and arts facilities needs inEdmonton.
This is your opportunity to share your space issues, challenges and successes if you are an Artist of any discipline working alone or in an organization, a cultural industry worker, arts administrator, instructor or student interested in living, and working in a creative environment.
As a token of our appreciation participants will be entered into our DRAW FOR ART!
Prizes are: a $150 gift certificate toward one-of-a-kind craftworks from THE ALBERTA CRAFT COUNCIL GALLEY AND SHOP and a$150 gift certificate toward a performance of your choice from TIX ON THE SQUARE.
